This week-long Luxury Gorilla Safari allows you to experience the best Uganda has to offer. From travelling through the open Savannah Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, to Gorilla Tracking deep through the Jungle of The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (the home of the majestic Mountain Gorilla), including a relaxing Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel, this trip really does combine it all. Chimpanzee Tracking in both Kyambura Gorge and Kibale is another chance for more breathtaking sightings and first hand encounters. Try your luck at finding Tree-Climbing Lions in Ishasha or for the avid birders, plenty of rare and beautiful birds waiting to be spotted. DAY BY DAY ACTIVITIES

DAY 1: Warm Welcome to Entebbe airport and transfer to Bwindi via Kihihi Airstrip

You will reach in Uganda at Entebbe international airport, meet the welcoming guide to guide you to the Aerolink airplane as you take your domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip, for at least 1 hour, and then take a drive for one hour, heading to Bwindi gorilla national park, check in from the hotel, relax, as you wait for the next day for the trip highlights.

DAY 2: Ultimate gorilla tracking Experience.

You will be welcomed to this new and a second day of the 7 days luxury & flying adventure, with a morning delicious breakfast, as you warm up, and get your cameras ready for the wonderful and long waited moment, as you prepare your mind for this experience. You will get your packed lunch from the hotel, and then head to the gorilla tracking briefing point where you will meet the professionals and the rangers to brief you, about how to get into this activity. You will begin your walk through this jungle, as you head towards the locations for the mountain gorillas. During this activity, you will be given time to enjoy the one on one and face to face encounter as you witness the interactions with the gorillas (our human closest friends).

Visiting the local shops and cultural encounter.

You will in the afternoon be guided to the nature walks, cultural encounter, where you will visit the local communities, for entertainments, as well as some shopping or souvenirs and other activities like the local food cooking, basket weaving and others (optional).

You will then head to the hotel for relaxation and then have your dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 3: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with Tree climbing Lions in Ishasha.

You will wake in the morning with a morning breakfast, and then take a 3-4 drive to queen Elizabeth national park with your packed lunch, where you will enter the park through Ishasha in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park and thereafter, you will proceed to the lodge in the evening. Check in have your relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4: Morning Game drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise.

This is another busy, adventurous day where you will wake up the morning with a morning breakfast, and head in the jungle to the medley of wonders driving to Kasenyi plains, as you will be welcomed by a number of wild residents, as you take your morning sunrise, game drive observing the abundant wildlife emerge into the savanna plains. Among the animals expected include prides of Lions, herds of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and many others.

Afternoon Boat Cruise

After this over 3-5 hours moment with the wild animals, you will return to the lodge, for your lunch, and then head to the Kazinga Channel, a water body that connects Lake Edward and Lake gorge wit over 45km long. During this 2-3 boat launch, you are expected to see a number of water life, beautiful birds and other wildlife. The animals include; Hippos, crocodiles, other animals that come to drink water include elephants, buffaloes and others. Birds include; African fish eagle, hemerkop, kingfishers and many others. You will then after head to the lodge to relax, have you dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5: Visit Kyambura Gorge for Chimpanzee Tracking and then transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

You will wake in the morning with your breakfast, and then head in for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge. You will take a walk through this outstanding gorge to visit the chimpanzees as you observe and encounter their living behaviors. After tracking the chimpanzee, you will then drive back to the lodge, for your lumch, relax, then checkout from the hotel, as we now get on to a 2 hours drive to Kibale forest national park.

You will drive to the park, through queen Elizabeth’s Kasenyi side, driving on a somehow straight and snake like road, surrounded by the outstanding, and fantastic view of the savanna grasslands, and along with the mount Rwenzori ranges giving you a glimpse moment, enging your minds and uplifting your soul. Check in from the hotel, dinner, overnight stay as you wait for the next day.

Accommodation: Primate Lodge Kibale

DAY 6: Ultimate Chimpanzee Tracking Experience and Bigodi community walks.

You are now welcome again to the Primate capital of the world, Kibale national park, where you are going to have the memorable time.

Here you will wake up in the morning with your beautiful morning breakfast, as you begin the day. You will after get your lunch packed and then drive for only 5 minutes, to the Kalinzu chimpanzee briefing point, where you will experience the warm welcome to the primate capital world.

You will be briefed about this activity, and then take a walk into the tropical rain forest, as you observe the wildlife and the chimpanzee as the highlight. This activity engages all your senses, and minds, and uplifts your soul, as you will observe the primates (chimpanzees) monkeys, birds like the Turacco, and many others.

You will thereafter head to the lodge for little relaxation, and then head to Bigodi community walks, for observing more birds, iron melting, cultural activities, and many others. You will thereafter, head back to the lodge, to relax in the evening, rest your mind and then have your dinner, and overnight stay, as you wait for the next day.

DAY 7: Transfer Back to Kampala

You are now welcome to the last day of this outstanding, fascinating and lifetime experience, where we are either going to take a 4 hours drive experience through the snake like roads (zig zag roads) surrounded by the fantastic view of the tea plantations or take a ½ hours domestic flight to entebbe.
