Welcome to the Uganda safari, known as the honeymoon safari, which will take you through Uganda’s ultimate wildlife experience, including chimpanzee and gorilla tracking. During this trip, you will have the opportunity to visit three of Uganda’s ten national parks. This journey will provide you with the chance to encounter outstanding nature and breathtaking views.

In Queen Elizabeth National Park, your morning game drive will allow you to observe a variety of wildlife, including lions, herds of elephants, leopards, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and many others. Additionally, an afternoon boat cruise will be conducted on the Kazinga Channel, connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Here, you will encounter wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and buffaloes as they come to the channel banks for drinking water. You will also witness water birds and other fascinating creatures.

Finally, the highlight of your safari will be gorilla tracking in Bwindi National Park.

DAY BY DAY ACTIVITIES

DAY ONE: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

You will begin your safari from Kampala and drive to Lake Mburo national park where you will have an overnight with a number of activities.

You will drive after the briefing and get the journey started, as you will head to western Uganda, you will have your first stopover at the equator located in Kayabwe, and have a photo moment, with refreshments and thereafter, proceed to the park, you will check in the hotel and relax for the evening, then have your dinner, a walk, and then overnight as we wait for the next day’s activities.

DAY TWO:  MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE

You will wake up in the morning with a morning breakfast, and drive to the jungle in search for the wild animals.  You will so a game drive that will reward you with a number of opportunities, to see and encounter a number of animals like the antelopes, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs and many others.

You will thereafter head to the hotel for lunch, you will after lunch go for an afternoon boat cruise where you will see a number of animals, like hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and many others, as you enjoy the stunning moments with nature and the wild residents.

DAY THREE:  TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK AND EVENING GAME DRIVE,

You will wake up in the morning with an African delicious breakfast, and then after starting your 2 to 3-hour drive to queen Elizabeth national park, where you will reach, check in from the hotel, and then relax a bit as you enjoy the rewarding, outstanding and engaging nature breath. You will then get in the nature / jungle for a game drive to meet the wild residents (wild animals),

Thereafter you will come back in the evening, after enjoying the great view of animals like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, leopards, and many others, come back to the hotel for dinner, relaxations, flashbacks, and overnight as we wait for the next day’s activities.

DAY FOUR: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE

After early morning Breakfast drive to Kasenyi plains for morning game drive which gives you the best African classic safari experience which engages all your senses with such a beautiful scenery of Rwenzori ranges and crater lakes animals expected to be sighted includes; Buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, Water bucks, Lions and baboons, Leopards and many others and varieties of Birds such as grey crown cranes, Southern Red bishop.

Drive back to the lodge for warm Lunch, after lunch drive to Mweya for the afternoon Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel for best of this un-forgettable and memorable experience while on the boat for 2-3 hours cruise to lake Edward where you will see local fishermen, this trip highlights are elephants which come down to the banks to drink and swim, several school of Hippopotamuses, Crocodiles basking at the banks and other animals like Buffaloes, water bucks with varieties of water birds such as, Great cormorant, pied kingfisher, African fish eagle etc.

DAY FIVE: TRANSFER TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK FOR GORILLA TRACKING

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with stop over for lunch en-route at selected Restaurant, driving on these snake roads of Kigezi Region it is another great experience as you will be enjoying the great view of the African hills, green banana plantations and also the local people who are so welcoming, and check in at the Lodge in the evening as you relax after this long drive.

DAY SIX: ULTIMATE GORILLA TRACKING EXPERIENCE

After Early Morning Breakfast drive to Gorilla tracking Briefing Point along with your packed lunch after briefing set off to meet the beautiful giants in the forest enjoy the time with these closest giants to human. Here we are talking of mountain gorillas.

After tracking drive back to the lodge and have your time and relax as you enjoy the perfect view of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, enjoy the balcony view of the forest from your room or on your private patio just outside at the shade besides the restaurant and the bar.

DAY SEVEN: DRIVE BACK TO KAMPALA

After early morning breakfast Drive back to Kampala with stop over for lunch at selected Restaurant en-route. You will also have a stopover at the equator which is the line that divides the northern and southern hemisphere, take a photo shoot and then proceed to Kampala for either your flight back or other activities.
