This Safari will give you one of the highlights in ugandan culture, in the southern part of Uganda bordering Rwanda and Congo. Visit the batwa home stead people See how they lived and hunted in the traditional manner. Enjoy trying out your hunting techniques as the Batwa teachyou how to shoot with a bow and arrow, learn from the women how to prepare, cook and serve a meal. You will alsohave the opportunity it sample the dishes. Take a visit to the mountain gorillas, as well the ankole culture in the west.
Day 1: Arrival at the Airport
Our Guide/driver will be already waiting to pick you up from the airport and transfer you to booked hotel or lodge for the first night depending on your time of arrival to rest as you wait for your marvelous and memorable safari to all Uganda national parks for the adventure.

Day 2: Drive to Kabale (lake bunyonyi)
After your morning breakfast you will meet with your guide, give you a briefing before you start off for your long journey to Lake Bunyonyivia Mbararato Kabale (the Switzerland of Africa) South Western Uganda. you will have a stopover in mbara at igongo cultural site for lunch (exclusive), as you continue will have a spectacular view on the way as you pass through three different types of vegetation reaching in the late afternoon.
Lake Bunyonyi lies on 1,950 metres above sea level, it is 25 km long and 7 km wide. It is famous for being the second deepest fresh water lake in Africa (900 meters). It is a bilharzias free which makes it special and also the numerous islands (29).
You can spend the afternoon on the lake in a dugout canoe, or relaxing in the evening by the lakeside. In the evening you can be entertained with traditional dancers as you warm up over a camp fire. A good restaurant and bar, hot showers in self-contained tents, are assured at Ha’Buharo Islands.

Day 3: Batwa people
After breakfast, visit the distinctive Batwa and spend some time interacting with the Batwa (pygmies) community who inhabit parts of the forests and its surrounding areas, pay visit to the Abaheesi (black smiths) societies or to the Bukora Cave.
In the late afternoon you will go for the boat safari, canoeing and other activities, return to your lodge and have dinner.

Day 4: drive back tokisoro
After your breakfast, set off to kisoro and do a visit to a community walk to the Bafubira and batwa (pygmies) people dominate this region.The mountain has afro-montane vegetation with cool climate and a large bamboo area.Mgahinga volcano acts as a better view point offering great views of the 3-countries Uganda, Rwanda and Congo
Later in afternoon, you drive to lake bwindi,check in your lodge, relax, have dinner and spend your night at your lodge

Day 5: Gorilla tracking day!
early morning after your breakfast, your driver will transfer you from your lodge with packed lunch to the starting point of your tracking group at UWA headquarters so that you can get a briefing at around (7.45am or 8.30am), then you will start the tracking. The gorillas that you track are very friendly to people, though still there are same groups which are shy, sharp, and stubborn as human beings. Your experienced ranger will help you to spot out their presence. You will expect to walk a long distance in steepand muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead while pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, before you encounter any gorillas
Once you find the gorillas, you will be able to spend with them up to one hour which is given time due to conservations issues, before going back to your lodge. Though it will be definitely worth while you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience!
Note: (This trek can take from 1hour to 7 hours depending on the area you track and group– a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes). Have your Dinner and overnight at;

Day 6: Drive to Lake Mburo
After early morning breakfast, you will begin your journey to Lake Mburo National passing by villages where we will first experience the Ankole Culture. Nshenyi Village will be your pristine gateway into the Ankole culture located approximately two hours from Mbarara, the village is nestled in the rolling hills of the Ankole Kingdom. Learn how to make gee, milk cows with your bare hands, accompany children to school, and find out how matooke is prepared. Later continue to Lake MburoPark, which is well known as a home to zebra, eland and impala, as well as hippos. When entering the park, we will spot the Ankole long horned cattle their enormous horns and you will meet a little bit with the local people.

Day 7: Lake Mburo Culture
After breakfast we’ll spend the whole morning in the park, visiting the local community of the Bahima and see how they process ghee, get a chance to milk a cow, observe how they prepare their staple food (matooke), how they manage their families and rural community return at the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon you will go for game drive with a ranger while searching for different animal spices, though as an extension of the Tanzanian Plains it’s the only park in Uganda with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland and other savannah species. For birders, this is one of the best places to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike.

Day 8: Drive Back to Kampala
Early morning after your breakfast, you will go for a nature walk with a ranger helping you to spot out some different animal species commonly zebra, impala, buffalo, elands, and other ungulates also roan antelope and leopard, hyenas and jackals. Bird viewing opportunities will also be available for birders.Youwill return to the lodge and have a late breakfast at the lodge.
You will then continue straight Kampala for a great night as you enjoy different Uganda cultural performances at Enderre Troops center.
Driving time: 4 to 5hrs
Day 9: Fly back home
In the morning you will have be relaxing, and in later be transferred to Entebbe to catch your flight.
